Stream of consciousness welcome back

No words can really describe the past days, months, this year really.

Life has been busy, yes. We have changed physical addresses and now here I am changing blog addresses again too. ;) Busy isn't why I have been quiet though. A precious friend humbled my heart this week when she mentioned my blogging silence and said she prayed for me most when I'm quiet.

I have so much to say and no inkling of how to say it. God is big and faithful but I am small and frail.

He is building and remaking me and some days it is too painful to share the details. Some days motherhood gets the best of me (and I pray it gets my best), leaving nothing to energy and sane thought for a blog post. Other times I want to share excitement, gratitude, news...but I fear.

But tonight I drank a grande iced coffee way too late and I'm awake. No time like the present and a night of too much coffee to break the silence I guess. Oh, and I have a new reason to write.

We're beginning the adoption process. I know there will be things I won't want to forget, but more than that, I want to share the journey with those of you who have walked with us thus far. Since God is still building me and our family, I thought it was fitting to reuse this space to record this story. We desperately need His wisdom and provision. I long to recount story after story of His faithfulness. I look forward to catching you up in the days ahead.
